Yes, editing your web site is now even easier with Gen II

"I don't believe you could have made the site any easier to work on. Working on this site has been a pleasure..."

"Wow, I can't believe it, it's so easy to edit our site, even I can do it. I had just assumed we'd have to have our 'computer guy' do it all, but I was wrong, it's as easy as writing an e-mail..."

"Hands-down this is the easiest web site to build and keep up to date that I've seen, I don't even know why you have tutorials..."

Existing Dot Com dealers that have been using the original Live Content Editor for a while might be in for a shock. We made it better, faster, more flexible, and believe it or not, even easier than before.

The new Live Editor that comes with your new Gen II site features true point and click ability, just like your word processor. As a matter of fact the formatting buttons look and behave so much like common word processor functions, all of our test dealers had their new test sites up and running and looking great before we were able to finish any help files or tutorials showing how to use them. See for yourself.

The section below is exactly what a typical Main Edit box looks like from inside the Dealer Control area. From your private, behind the scenes view of your web site, all of your main content on a page will be enclosed in one or more boxes just like this. All you have to do is type, select, point and click. The only difference here is there is no "Save Changes" button on this page and no public page to write the changes to, so anything you do in the editing area below will disappear when you close the browser. Feel free to try it out and experiment however you like!

Note: If you cannot see the Formatting buttons on the Editor Window below you will need to upgrade your web browser to a modern compliant version. Internet Explorer 6 is required.. IE 5.1 will NOT show you the formatting buttons. If you can't upgrade your browser online, let us know and we'll have a CD sent to you.

Of course, this is a tiny demonstration compared to a fully integrated Gen II web site, but it demonstrates the core functionality of the Live Editor. You can get a better idea of the full capabilities of your new site through our Demo Site, which requires a password to access the editing capabilities.
